Here at Canine Country Lodge, we provide 11 Luxury double-sided kennels each with its own internal climate-controlled relaxation zone with an adjoining covered outdoor enclosure giving them the choice of snuggling up indoors or relaxing outside indulging in the wonderful countryside vista, sounds and aroma of the wilderness country life brings.
For our daycare groups, we deliver a social environment filled with sensory elements including exercise, socialization and of course, lots of fun while their parents are away. We have a vast equipped indoor play zone with the extravagance of its very own extensive sand pit, smaller sections for weekly movie screenings and our outdoor secure paddock for off-lead fun.
We believe our daycare offers a safe environment for your dog allowing them to meet with their friends for social interaction and mental stimulation.
Welcome to Canine Country Lodge nestled within the grounds of Meadowlands Farm with its stunning backdrop comprising over 50 acres of woodlands, luscious meadows, spring-fed ponds and streams to enjoy. Our vast secure fenced paddocks offer off-lead fun, private sensory walks through our wooded meadows and wild swimming offerings all available to our boarded and daycare club members.
Our new modern purpose-built facility has been constructed to provide a welcoming, caring and stimulating environment offering our guests the attention and time they deserve.
We believe that by allowing your dog to engage in innate behaviours such as thinking, problem-solving, bonding, playing, chasing, smelling and scavenging they will be physically, emotionally and mentally fulfilled.
When offering our training packages we wanted to be able to adapt this to your dog’s personal needs. Initially, we would invite you for an evaluation meeting before agreeing to the right package format for your dog(s).
We are a small family-run business with our dogs Lucy, Jen and Gunner being the main drive behind Canine Country Lodge. Having been an avid lover of animals of all kinds my entire life, I’ve always felt a connection and sense that I can understand what they try to communicate through their body language.
Qualified in Dog First Aid, AIM Ofqual Level 3 in Canine Care, Behaviour and Welfare, Certified Dog Trainer DTC CDT, Licensed by East Ayrshire Council, Fully Insured and MBM Veterinary Approved. We are very excited to be able to share this facility with you and can’t wait to meet your dogs.
Our two FRL’s Ella and Rosa had their first 4 night stay at the lodge and what happy girls they were. Mary is so accommodating and it was lovely to receive pictures of them while we were on holiday. The facilities are excellent. Super clean with an abundance of indoor and outdoor space. Most importantly they received lots of care and attention during their stay. The girls are booked back in. Would highly recommend 😊
Great facilities and great staff! Mary really went the extra mile to make sure our golden retriever had a good time, and was settled and comfortable. He had so much fun playing in the sand pit and the field that he was reluctant to come home.
We took our dachshund Ted today for an induction to Mary’s kennels…. Wow.
My husband and I were not sure about daycare kennels or boarding for our holiday, but Mary put us at ease with all her knowledge.
It’s the most beautiful place in the countryside with luxury accommodation for boarders and the biggest area to run about in, with several sofas for dog to chill on during the day.
Ted loved the sand pit area which is enormous.

Cooper had an amazing stay with Mary while we were at our daughter’s wedding. This was the first time he had ever been in kennels and I was apprehensive. Mary is very knowledgeable, thoroughly reassured me and I had total trust in her. She sent me regular updates on how he was doing along with photos and videos and he was so spoiled.
