Fantastic modern, purpose built kennels located just outside Stewarton in a very quiet, peaceful location.

We can’t recommend these kennels highly enough. Mary the owner has been brilliant from our initial ‘tour’ to Lola’s first week long stay which finished on Wednesday, 14th May.

She has been great with our dog who is nervous and wary of strangers. It’s clear she’s great with all types of dogs. On our initial visit Mary let our dog explore on her own and have a good sniff around. It wasn’t long before Lola moved in closer for a cuddle!

There are 11 kennels with a large indoor play area and sandpit, large kitchen and separate reception. There is plenty of outside space including a large, secure field. Our dog isn’t great at mixing with other dogs so what particularly appealed to us is the clever design with different secure areas so dogs don’t need to mix and can be kept separate if necessary. Another positive aspect for us is there’s only 11 kennels and Mary accepts a maximum of 5 daycare bookings.

We’re really happy we found these kennels and Lola is already booked in for our next two holidays.

We couldn’t be happier with our experience at canine country lodge. We left our 8-month-old Border Collie pup, who is definitely a handful and full of energy, Mary took absolutely amazing care of him and was extremely knowledgeable about the bread. Mary was amazing with us from start to finish and helped ease our anxiety about leaving Axel the minute we met her!

We received updates that gave us complete peace of mind, and it was clear he was getting plenty of exercise, playtime, and love. When we picked him up, he was happy, well cared for, and clearly comfortable with the staff — which says everything.

It’s such a relief to know we have a place we can truly trust with our high-energy pup. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a safe, caring, and attentive boarding experience. We will absolutely be back! 🐾

We use Canine Country Lodge as a daycare for our extremely energetic Vizsla pup (8 months old), and she absolutely loves it! From the moment we met Mary we knew our precious pup was going to be in very safe and knowledgeable hands! We get photos and videos throughout the day and a full debrief on collection! It is purpose built for dogs, with home comforts and a large field for them to run about together! Highly recommend!

I recently went on a five-night holiday and entrusted my two beloved dogs, Ragnar (my husky) and Ameerh (my Akita), to Canine Lodge. Mary, who cared for them, was absolutely wonderful. Ragnar requires extra attention, with his diabetes needing two insulin shots a day, plus medication for his arthritis, and Mary handled it all with such care and ease. Ameerh, my sensitive Akita, can get quite upset when we’re away, even refusing to eat, but Mary took the time to sit with her, comfort her, and encourage her to eat. Both dogs were happy and healthy when I returned, and I could see Mary had formed a bond with them – she was even sad to see them go! It was truly heartwarming and I am deeply grateful for her dedication. I would trust her with my dogs anytime in the future!

We have two rough collies, one who is really anxious and prone to stress colitis – which was awful after her last few visits to other boarding kennels – to the point we thought we could never put her in kennels again .

On the recommendation from a good friend who also has two rough collies who have stayed with Mary recently, we took the girls for an initial meet a few weeks ago and they had their first stay at the weekend! Words cannot express how delighted we are!

The set up is absolutely amazing and clearly a lot of thought has gone into creating this business! The passion which comes over from reading the website is mirrored in reality! Mary’s advice both at the initial meet and prior to dropping the girls off was invaluable. She truly cares.

We were also kept fully informed as to how the girls were doing and sent pictures and videos on a regular basis and we could just tell from those alone that the girls were in their element and happy!

Delighted to say no signs at all that our younger girl was stressed in any way! Both extremely settled since we got home and we are delighted!

Our two FRL’s Ella and Rosa had their first 4 night stay at the lodge and what happy girls they were. Mary is so accommodating and it was lovely to receive pictures of them while we were on holiday. The facilities are excellent. Super clean with an abundance of indoor and outdoor space. Most importantly they received lots of care and attention during their stay. The girls are booked back in. Would highly recommend 😊
